1. Containers of Hope residence
With a £31,365 budget, Benjamin Garcia used 2-forty feet long shipping containers to build a cozy 1,000 square feet house. The house is situated in San Jose, the central valley of Costa Rica and proves you do not need pockets to fund the shipping container home project
2. Colorado shipping home container.
The design team of this home container chose to add two storage containers to the exterior of an already existing structure. The home is nestled on the edge ledge in Nederland, Colorado and features passive cooling, solar panels, pellet stove heating and much more.
3. Six unit shipping container
Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, this home is a collection of six shipping containers that have been crisscrossed each way to create a great dwelling. The home features large glass windows, concrete floors, industrial finishes and red-brick colored stairs to tie the space together neatly.
4. Maison container life residence
The Maison container project was designed by Patrick Partouche, a French architect. The home comprises of eight containers creating a 2238 square feet of living space. Ideally, the residence took three days to create with the help of large cranes.
5. Shipping container guest house
Guest houses are small anyway, so why not make yours from a shipping container? Designed by Poteet Architects, this home spans 360 square feet and includes everything a person would need from the study areas to the living room and right down to the patio and bathroom.
6. Mojave Desert container home
Built at Ecotech design, this container is the first ever home container to be constructed in the Mojave Desert. The shipping container is 2300 square foot and is situated near Joshua tree, and compromises of 6 shipping containers plus pre-engineered steel components.
7. Stacked shipping container home, Spain
Located in the province of Avila, Spain this home materialized in 2010 and still looks magnificent to this day. The project comprised of four different forty feet shipping containers making up a 2,000 sq ft of living space. James and Mau designed the project while Infinski built it out.
8. Savannah Woods shipping container
A couple residing in the woodsy city of Savannah in Georgia commissioned price street project for this home. Although it may not look much from the exterior, the dark floors, white walls as well as skylights provides a great modern touch in the entire dwelling.
9. Redondo Beach shipping container residence
Located in the northern part of US, Los Angeles, this residence did a great job combining pre-fabricated containers with traditional building materials. Constructed as a collaboration project between logical homes and De Maria Design, this home has everything a person could ask for including proximity to the beach.
10. Shipping container complex, Scotland
Taking a different approach from the residences mentioned above, Edo Architecture was commissioned to construct a complex of rentable container homes in the cover park area, Scotland. The team welded six shipping containers together to come up with a waterfront resort.
