Nature Conservancy’s Washington Chapter David works closely
with scientists, private landowners, and public land managers to develop

Creek forest and watershed restoration project in Willapa Bay.

and on Molokai, Hawaii. Prior to his positions with the Conservancy,
David worked for the U.S. Forest Service investigating wildlife and
forest habitat relationships in Pacific Northwest old-growth coniferous
forests and aspen forests of the Rocky Mountains, and studying bald
eagles in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. He received a Master’s
